Attach file to Post
« on: July 11, 2016, 07:04:34 PM »
I wanted to Post and attach a program but I can not find how to attach zipped file to post.

Am I just not seeing it or do you need permission to add attachments to a Post?

Thanks
John

Hi John,
Welcome to the forum. There should be an "Attachments and other options" button under the input box. I think you may have to make several (3 or 4?) posts before you are allowed to attach a file (PITA - I blame the spammers). Try telling us about the file you're going to attach... and then try to attach it. If it doesn't work, tell us more about the file you're going to attach and try it again... until it works. I can be reached at fbkotler(pig's tail)myfairpoint(decimal point)net if all else fails...

Best,
Frank

Hi,

Curious place is that.

My question is: what must be done exactly before contributing to this site once you have successfully signed up?

I can't even make a post (without attachments) in the Example Code area.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jordi, welcome :)

I think I had to make 2 or 3 posts before I could post in Example Code and add an attachment. Just reply to another thread or two and you should be good to go.
