WINDOWS NASM - Why is LD.exe now LDRDF.exe?

(1/1)

bubbaboy789:
So, I want to compile this window I got help with (tutorial link at end of post) but I couldnt compile it as it said "'ld' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." so I went to explorer to figure it out. I saw that LD.exe had become LDRDF.exe and wanted to know why. Please send help ASAP

debs3759:
Unless things have changed recently, ld.exe and ldrdf.exe are not part of nasm, they are linkers provided by someone else.

Deskman243:
Here is the link to a free online reference for the linker file programs in the subject.
