Could suggest some substantial NASM built project? Frank Please Read the Update

Hi,
I would ask for some suggestion on  NASM made projects to have a "not a toy" code base to study and analyze.  Something complex , driven by the problem.

Hi all,
found a copy of asmtools, on a site by Frank Kotler (google did it), and it seems quite what I was looking for, and so now I have some stuff to look at.

Just to understand, why the website where that would be eventually found is no longer existent?
Someone (Frank I suppose) could tell the story of this stuff and why it seems dead (website at least)?

Well... as I recall, Jeff discontinued the project. He'd lost his wife, and I think he was a little depressed and discouraged (a state I'm familiar with). He has more recently restarted it(?).

Not much activity there. I'm sure he'd be delighted to hear from you if you have any questions or comments! Since Google changed their policy from "don't be evil" to their new policy, I've been having trouble logging in / signing in myself, and haven't spoken to Jeff in quite a while. If you should speak to him, say "hi" from me and invite him to come around here, if he cares to. I know, it's a PITA to sign up here, too.

As I wrote on the group and perhaps already here, it is sad that almost all assembly stuff is just sample code. What asmtools does is hitting the critical mass and making a large motivation on flatting the knowledge, that is, distinguish between time and patience needed from 'being able to'.

Sometimes a vivid demonstration has a large impact on confidence, that the time is worth using to get there.
