AOW32
« on: September 10, 2015, 06:40:20 PM »
Hello. I've finally decided to release AOW32 now. It is far from finished and there're several things that I have to change. But maybe it could be useful for anyone.

Using masm, nasmx, fasm, tinyc, pellesc

It would be great to receive any feedback (constructive comments). Not just, view, take, run and forget.

I have marked several things as wrong that I belive that I can fix (when I have time).

For now, only in Spanish, though I am translating it to English.

Regards,
alfonso

Hi,

Prewords:
It would be great to receive any feedback (constructive comments). Not just, view, take, run and forget.

All right, if you ask for it - you will get a view and criticism.

Words:
only thing I can share is a few bits of criticism, CAPS LOCK ON: WEEHEEHEE, 0xCAFEBABE!!!  :)

1. Win Mines, quotes:
Quote
There are a few things more to do, but this is already a playable version.
...
...
Things to improve:
* I wanted to do a feedback effect in the about box, not a simple bur.
* Buttons show icons. We can show text instead and maybe we can gain some kb.
* Adding a link to my page to the about box.
* Play a wav explosion when a mine is clicked.

I never see, saw, seen an improved - finished version.

2. tiny mci multimedia player

Quote
ToDo list:
* Add spectrum analizer. Will we achieve to sincronize it with music?
* Add play list.
* Get into live buttons that for now don't work
* Make the file name oscillate in its field in status bar when doesn't fit
* Change font icons for image icons. It will increase in some kb the resulting size
* Polish the code.

Other:
* I have noticed that in some cases the file length returned by mci is not right
* It seems that mp3 are followed in milliseconds but films don't

Did you ever finished that?

3. Space Invaders

Quote
It is far from finished and left many things

Did you ever finished that?

4. AOW32

It is far from finished and there're several things that I have to change.
...

I have marked several things as wrong that I belive that I can fix (when I have time).

So, most things are far from finished and no time and never got finished.
Well 1: yes, I know you have a wife and kids, you informed about that - that you are very busy.
Well 2:
We can plant a tree and never take a care of it.
We can write a book and never finish it.
Ahh,, F this, I quit!
Ahh,, F this, I quit, AGAIN?! :D

 ;D :P :-[ :-X

Hello encryptor  :D :D :D

Yes, I suppose I'm a bit unstable. Though I must say that I finished many of them  8). It's just that I didn't upload here because I suppose it was on interest to nobody due to lack of feedback.

Kind Regards

Ps. How difficult is writing with a mobile phone

Hello.

1. I did my best translating it to English.
2. Added some things like join text and images on a button creating a compatible bitmap on the fly.
3. Added 7zipped project to download. It is needed for some programs to compile and run properly.

Regards

Hello, anybody there?

I have uploaded it with several fixings and some new things, though in the Spanish side.

i've just done today a messagebox hooking example changing the button text from "Aceptar" to "inaceptable" (Accept to unacceptable), that works ok in fasm, masm, tinyc and pellesc, but fails in NasmX: the text button is changed, but hungs when you click anywhere in the program after the hoocked messagebox appears. Surely a lack of code. In the case that anyone has time to have a look, would be appreciated. Anyway I will have a look to it when I have time.

Regards.

PS. Some programs finished (or nearly), here

I have reopened my win32 tuto with asm (also with NasmX) and c (also with TinyC). It is heavily in progress, so there are many things to do yet, but there're also a bunch of them already done. It is mainly in Spanish, the English version is nowadays outdated, waiting for may spare time.
