Title: Forum settings
Post by: cm on August 31, 2010, 03:14:52 PM
Is the forum intentionally configured to disallow changing one's signature and forum style, among most other profile content? On the page "http://forum.nasm.us/index.php?action=profile (http://forum.nasm.us/index.php?action=profile)", under "Modify Profile" there's only "Account Related Settings" to change one's password and e-mail address and such.

(BTW, since there's no subforum to discuss the forum itself I put the thread here.)

Any account with less than 5 posts is restricted to just basic posting.

This is to mitigate when spambots manage slip past the anti-spam checks and successfully register... followed by PM spam, posting spam, account profile spam, attachment spam, etc.
